I had an I-6 Envoy towing a 21' HTT. Even with a transmission cooler I smoked the 4L60. The 4-speed screamed in 1st or 2nd but it was too much of a step to 3rd.
Tie rod ends, water pump, clutch fan, alternator, tranny, exhaust manifold (turned into a cylinder head), fuel pump, and cat converter all by 82,000 miles. Very soft suspension and a small fuel tank.
