My mom has a 2004 trailblazer EXT with the longer wheelbase and third row seat. Hers has the 4.2 liter straight 6, and while I never towed anything with it, it feels suprisingly slow compared to my 2006 explorer 4.0, even though hers is rated more horsepower. I suppose the long wheelbase EXT combined with the optional 5.3 liter V8 would be better
