I'm just going by what the sticker on the side of the trailer says. We did put on a distribution kit with 10,000 lb max capacity GVWR trailer weight and a 1,000 lb max capacity hitch weight (if that helps) Maybe we should check with Rockwood? My husband just took it our on the road and it stopped great while braking. Just don't want to take it out on a trip and have problems. Thanks.
