I've been looking at new 1/2 ton Chebbys recently as I may need to buy a new 1/2 ton.
Bottom line, they're not popular. Local Chevy dealer that has the "deals" on pickups, has, just checked, about 80 Silverado 1500s listed on their website and exactly 1 - 4 banger turbo.
Reports are the mileage isn't stellar and who want's a screaming Tyota Corolla engine in a full size pickup?
Unless the deal is literally too good to pass up, which is unlikely because there are 1000s of 2019 Silverados for $10-15k off sticker everywhere, it's not worth it.
