Could you share a link to a wiring kit that is recommended for the Ford F350?
I can! There are several places to get these, but the first one I found is here: (Clicky). That's a catalog page from LMC Parts and Truck Accessories. The wiring harness is at the bottom of the page, and if you have composite headlamps (and the pic in your signature suggests that you do), you'll need part #47-3662.
Here's a writeup from another forum detailing exactly what the 'problem' is and how bypassing the factory harness corrects it. (another clicky).
If I install the relay package, will my switch work just the same? For instance, my headlights come on and go off automatically. Will that stay the same?
Yes, your switch will still work the same way as before.
The way it is now, all of the current for the headlights flows through the switch and a whole lot of other wiring on the way to the lights. Voltage drops along the way, which dims your lights. It's a bit like running a space heater on several thin extension cords.
After the new wiring, the switch only flows enough current to operate the relays. The relays are directly wired to the batteries with a short run of heavier gauge wire, so there is no voltage drop between the relays and the headlamps.
