If you have a truck that came from the factory with crappy headlights such as a '01 Dodge, checking aim or eyes won't do anything to make the lights better.
Or an 05 Dodge!!
I was also told in more technical terms that I can remember, that the blue lights basically give you a false sense of brightness. It's actually a filter on the light spectrum that reduces the total lumens.
