  • For pick-up truck drivers there's the EZ Down tail gate damper. You just pop the latch and the gate slowly lowers without any sudden drop. Very easy to install and I think the new ones help raise it too but not sure.
    $25~$30.
  • On the tool items, even if you have one already, a second one is nice.

A good tire pressure gauge with a long stem

    VOM

    VOM - Clampon

    Weather station with remotes

Good 4 in 1 screw driver with changeable bits.

A good small aluminum folding table for your grill.

Small plastic multi compartment storage bin for screws, nuts, pieces-parts, etc. These usually have 12 - 24 bins that are about 2" quare.

One of the new small LED trouble ligts with 10 10 - 20 bulbs. These are usually flat. They're great for placing in dark corners when working on things like water lines under kitchen cabinets.

A strong magnet on a telescoping handle. Sears sells them with a light built into the end of them so you can see in the dark corners.

A mirror on a telescoping handle.

A nice set of dribb bits in a strong plastic case with pilot point tips made by Dewalt.

Rechargeable AA and AAA batteries by Sanyo called Eneloop (who thoiught up that name???) sold by Costco and Amazon. They're the best rechargeable battery made. You'll always have fresh batteries with you.

A small Western Digital 1T hardrive to back up your laptop to. Slightly over $100, but well worth it.

    A new digital camera

    I'll think of more.
