Jefe 4x4 - - I probably should have mentioned that my intent is to remove the 4-step Stow-N-Glow cassette each time I want to move, and store it in one of my compartments. Then I just fold the remaining 3 Hickory steps into the allotted factory space. Only takes about 60 sec to install or take them off the bracket (yesterday I got some SS wing nuts that spin on/off in 2 sec). Tried clevis pins which are also quick...but was dissatisfied that they don't lock up as tight as the bolts).
Yes, a little more hassle then just folding the steps up...but, neither you nor I want them hanging out the side of the camper 10" while going down the road. I wouldn't even leave them on the back of a TC going down the road as is shown on TL's website
