How do you know when regeneration is pending?
My Powerstroke has no driving symptoms, when ScanGauge engineers are still working on making a gauge that would work.
The only times I can catch regeneration is seeing soot level dropping at high rate and when I zero my cluster gauge, the usual 12 mpg drops to 8 mpg.
If you are looking for a monitor that will show amount of soot, and regen status as well as can start a regen manually the edge insight works on my 2019 chevy. Call edge products they will know if it will work on a ford. The nice thing is if my soot level is getting high and I know I will not be making any long drives I can force a regen
and get it done so it isn't trying to regen when I am stop and go driving around town. It even tracks miles since last regen and automatically resets. Mine goes between 450 and 500 miles between regens. My truck has a higher idle when in regen, about 300 rpm.
