Cleaning roof

Some people will use a board, like a 2x6 4 or 5 ft long, to put down on the roof and walk on to spread their weight. Just make sure the edges of the board are rounded by sanding so it won't damage the roof.

I haven't walked on my roof. I use brooms and sponges on expanding handles to clean the roof. I haven't yet had to do anything like service the A/C which would require me to walk on the roof.
