I didn't take any pictures but you should only have 2 bolts holding down the toilet it's self, exactly like your home toilet. After you remove it, there should be 3 bolts you will need to remove. These bolts hold the pipe flange to the floor. When you remove these, you should be able to pull the pipe out. You should see a seal that seals around the outside of the pipe when it's inserted into the floor. I just measured the distance that I would need to have the pipe long enough to go slightly below that seal and cut the rest off. Once you pull the pipe out, you'll see what I'm talking about. I had the same problem. It drove me nuts. I haven't had any more problems since. I hope this helps you. I know how aggravating it can be.
