Anyone ever hear of a turbo getting ("coked up" dealer term)? I lost a lot of power and massive drop in MPG while towing to Co. Took truck 2012 3500 drw dodge to dealer and they had it for 3 days. ...

Interesting thread. How would the dealer clean that out, brake cleaner? Solvent? A trip through the parts tank?
Is there any additive that could slow down or prevent the build up?
I was told to get out on the open road and go hammer down to make the turbo blades change pitch. That's with a Duramax.
I don't let the Dmax idle to warm up. I drive slow for a mile and then easy on the throttle until up to temp.
