I stand corrected sir, at extreme outside temps the AC will pull 200-250 watts more than at 65*, sorry if I mislead anyone.
the blower motor will stay the same no mater the temp, the compressor is the culprit for the added amp draw.
looks like a 2000 is on the threshold of running or not a mach 1 in desert conditions.
16.7 max and 13.3 run is what im seeing on a 2000w Honda, is this correct.
I used a much less expensive Generac 4000 and it powered my 13.5 Btu A/C, microwave and the rest of the camper. It is loud, but then again, so are all the dirt bikes, atv's, buggies and desert trucks that are used in the areas I camped in.
