Are you sure ? Also the GM powertrain warranty is 100,000 miles, not 36,000 miles as you indicated. My source...my 2015 GM manual.

My 2015 GM Canada warranty is 160,000 kms...(100,000 miles) or 5 years...whichever comes first.
