The only thing I know for sure is that I drove by the auto mall and looked at their service areas. Ford and Chevy were about equal and Dodge was smaller. All were full of trucks being repaired.
'nuff said about whose best.
Thank god for a scientific test. I think Consumer Reports, Edmunds and everyone else who tracks vehicle reliability has been doing it all wrong. All they have to do is cruise by the shop at the end of the street. Wow, have they all been wasting time.
Let's see... Mark Twain said "There are three kinds of lies...lies, damn lies and statistics".
I think Consumer Reports uses STATISTICS!
And a fact some of you may not be aware of is that Mark Twain was somewhat of an expert on modern day vehicles. I've heard he was particularly good with the fuel injection systems, automatic transmissions and 4WD systems. :)
Mark was wise enough to recognize that the truth is the truth and it applies across the board! - hone_eagleExplorer

Ford is the obvious choice! :)
Highest payload rating
Highest tow rating
Even with Chevy's new design it still can't compete with the Ford that's been out for 4yrs now..

Time will tell on the 6.7. Need to see some high mile ones out of warrenty to see what owners are saying. Easy to love them now when issues are covered. I hope time and miles are good for the 6.7 ford, because they need a diesel they can keep around for longer than 3-4 years before they role into a whole other engine.
I'm convinced Ford has a winner here.
Let just say the Duramax has changed and evolved during it's lifespan. Some had problems and some were better.
