Wow, some warm conversation going on here, will be watching this thread for sure as I am in a similar situation as Mr. Bedlam. Whatever the cost I would never give up my turbo diesel over a gasser, ever, love gas engines just not in this application. It's a very tough decision you are making here, and an expensive one, it's got to be right!
For me 4x4 is a must also, snow country and bad driveway noted, small parking footprint etc., then you add a larger camper and, can you say MDT. May your search be a good one! I'd bet Boatycall is watching this one, I spend way too much time on this forum heh, heh!
