The best advice I can give at this point is like what some others have said, don't drive it. The 6.4 is a fantastic motor, but can be finicky at times. And when they go, it really can cost a lot of money. Kind of like being married to a supermodel.
You have a good plan, get it to the dealer and have them run codes and check engine condition. Fortunately it is not a 6.0 so head gaskets are not as big of a concern. I am well versed in this since I had to fully rebuild mine last fall. I now have all the upgrades and deletes on my truck that should make it last another 300k+.
