The 6.4 could be very expensive to fix and if it's something simple no harm no foul minus the tow bill...but if it's something serious and you caught it early you can save your engine...
If it's the EGR failing then it can hydrolock your 6.4 if you push it... Which WILL send parts out of your engine through newly made openings.
Please please please do not limp this truck home...tow it and save 15 grand.

The 6.4L has less frequent problems than the 6.0 however it is more likely to suffer catastrophic failure shortly after symptoms of a failed cooling system appear.
