I appreciate the votes of confidence in my four popper. I had called the dealer yesterday morning about one of these before I started the 4 cylinder research, that was the last thing I thought to check. Dealer called me back this morning to tell me that they are unable to get the 150RBT model I was considering. He told me they had the 160RBT and the 181BH in stock. He then asked what was wrong with those and I explained that the dry weights on those were the GVWR of the 150RBT and max weights were my TV capacity. He told me that they go by the manufacturer's TV capacity and that those numbers are the same as my TV's capacity. I guess max capacity is not a problem there.
I also discussed a pop-up with my wife. I showed some of the bathroom options and she doesn't like them. I think she remembers the porta potti in her grandparents pop up she used as a kid and can't get past that feeling/thinking.
I checked out Scamp and Casita, but I really wouldn't be able to see one in person before buying one which is a concern for us. I actually called Casita and the closest person that has one of the model we might be interested in willing to show it to us is about 6 hours drive according to the location they gave me. Parkliner and lil Snoozy are both interesting but outside of my budget by at least 30%.
Given that I can't get a 150rbt or the rpod 172 (none within 400 miles of me), and my wife appears to have no interest in a pop up, I'll continue looking on rvtrader and other places for available inventory, used items, etc. within the same specifications as the 150rbt.
