I checked out Scamp and Casita, but I really wouldn't be able to see one in person before buying one which is a concern for us. I actually called Casita and the closest person that has one of the model we might be interested in willing to show it to us is about 6 hours drive according to the location they gave me. Parkliner and lil Snoozy are both interesting but outside of my budget by at least 30%.
Shoot, if you had written just a week ago, I would have suggested attending the "NE Egg Beaters" fiberglass-trailer rally last weekend in Mechanicsville, NY. Owners would have been happy to show off their egg trailers. Next one anywhere close to you is at Niagara, Sept. 15-17 (PM me for details if interested).
Be sure to re-figure the RPod frontal area, taking into account the outrigger wheels. The body width is only about six and a half feet. Exterior listed height might include the AC unit. I doubt the Rpod's frontal area is greater than the Sportsmen Classic's. You can always go to the dealership with your tape measure and figure it yourself.
If you really want that KZ floor plan you referred to in post #1, why not order it just the way you want it? In 2005 I ordered a Rockwood around Feb 1 and it came in from the factory around mid-May. Some things are worth a little bit of a wait.
