Far more economical and easier to drive while hauling than my gasser.
I keep hearing opinions from those that have no experience to back up their statements.
I drive a diesel Dually because I need it to haul my 4000 lb cabover and cargo trailer, M105A3 that weighs in at 2700 empty, Up the hill to Flagstaff to Phoenix.
Was very tough in the gasser but a walk in the park in the diesel.
If it's a walk in the park for a 7.3, a modern gas engine would probably have no trouble either. Your gasser experience is 20 years old.
