yeah I rarely pull it out either, I really don't even need the 30A. I'm tempted to maybe just hook up a 15A connection but want to make sure that I don't short change myself by not hooking up a 30A connector. I like the external connector though because I wouldn't even have to open the door to hookup.
I removed the microwave and the a/c seems to run fine on 15A even with the fridge on and converter charging so not sure I'd miss 30A.
The plug above the cord is to connect it to the onboard generator but I can't see every having that either since I have a portable gen.
I'd probably just put it all back to stock if it came time to sell it.
