And there are cheaper alternatives than Torklift,like Happi-jack stuff or flooded(normal) batteries and portable solar panels..Torklift is flat out spendy stuff..I own none of it...But it is quality stuff,I guess..

There are people out there that still use Brophy tie downs(less than $100) on smaller TC's like this guy..

I agree..The only problem with the Stable-Lift is the ground clearance..I don't understand why they have not addressed that with something like a release that let's you take the bottom half off for going in rougher terrain...

Except for that,the system is hard to beat..

Wow... I hadn’t thought about it this way, but the money you guys are spending just to tie down your campers would seriously offset the cost of getting a Stable-Lift instead!
Not only does it work WAY better than corner jacks, it eliminates having tiedowns.

I could not find anyone near me to install the Torklift brackets on my new truck. It was a lot of work and required a couple of phone calls and some slight modifications of the predrilled Torklift bolt holes.

AGM batteries can be expensive. I replaced mine last year. The best price I could find for 2 150 AH Lifelines was close to $1000.

I think I paid about the same to have a second solar panel installed. The costs included the panel and the time knowledge and expertise of the installer. I have done a lot of my own repairs and modifications but I would not be interested in wrestling a heavy solar panel onto the roof and installing the brackets.

That's a good idea! it does however have connector up front for a portable solar panel you can buy a portable solar panel 100 watt for $149

Since you already have cargo bars, why not put 2nd panel there and make it easy removable for those days when you park under a tree?

That's my opinion also going to eliminate 1 battery and the extra solar panel I assume you "glue"(existing paneled is glued)another 100 watt panel to the roof and connect in parallel.Recommend a caulking glue and panel source Most inverters handle 200w as well as 100w? Saw some 24 AGM Duracells at Sam's Club for ~$135 a week or so ago. 27's, ~$160. 31's, ~$180.
