Hi I am about to store my Jayco travel trailer. I am planning on storing it inside my father in laws barn. It is very dusty in there and we think it would be best to use some sort of cover on it to keep it free from getting dirty and dusty. Can I buy any cheap tarp or cover? or should I buy an actual rv cover? I see ADCO has an aquashed cover which looks like it is meant for milder climate and not really the elements, but with it being indoors I would think it would work? Any ideas???
Thanks in advance!
This is just my opinion. I would not cover it. If you are storing it inside you don't need to worry about rain, sun, snow, etc. If dust is all you are worried about, then one quick wash in the spring will take care of that. As others have said, it won't get dusty inside unless you leave windows/vents open. My travel trailer got covered with mud and dirt this spring as I was driving to a USFS campground on a freshly graveled road in the pouring rain. Surely far more dirt than your TT will get sitting inside a barn. I just gave it a good washing and it was shining like new.
