A tarp from Harbor Freight or Walmart will work.
The RV tarps are very nice (and you pay the price for them), because they let air through, to avoid moisture issues....but if you allow some air to get around under a regular blue tarp, you should be fine.
One of the concerns inside the barn would be bird droppings (a great reason for the tarp) and mice getting into the RV.
