And, your point being? That has nothing to do with what I stated that Navistar was suppose to be paying warranty for the 6.0L, but wasn't which is why Ford sued them. What you posted here is a lawsuit between the owners and Ford/Navistar, not Ford and Navistar like I stated. It got very ugly between the two because Navistar was not paying its share of warranty claims to make it right, and left Ford holding the bag.
Ford and Navistar Settle Diesel Engine DisputeI have to say that I feel Fords pain in having to deal with Navistar. I have to fight with their corporate offices on a regular basis. They make a lot of empty promises, they consistently miss deadlines, they don't pay you when or the amount they are suppose to, their plans and policies are driven by emotions rather than facts and data, and their whole organization seems to have an anti-customer/dealer culture that only focuses one how their department looks in front of their executives. And my company is its largest customer/dealer group and one of the main reasons they actually gained market share in 2018.
My company has had to make it right with customer on many occasions when Navistar refused to even though it was their fault. I feel sorry for GM for going in on a joint venture with Navistar on their 4500/5500 trucks. I hope they don't get burned like many others have. I was hoping things would change at Navistar once Volkswagen started taking over these past few years, but it seems to be all the same.
