One of our TC friends had his shower pan break loose in a glue joint.
We bought a rubber "p" trap... it allows the large owner to use the shower with the pan flexing slightly and no more strain.
We bought it at Lowes.
Lowes also has: ProPlumber Rubber Coupling (that can be shortened)
