My bet is the proposing effect is only on certain roads. From reading years of posting on the TC Forum, it is my belief the proposing effect is more common on GM trucks, with certain wheel bases. I do not recall the wheelbase. It is my understanding, it is usually due to the distance between the cement joints in the road and the wheelbase of the vehicle and vehicle speed.
Years ago, I had a GMC 3/4 ton that did the proposing on a certain stretch of highway. I could speedup or slow down, and it would stop the proposing effect.
