cubic foot of wood? how big is this? damn restrictions

local campground that I want to checkout next weekend put a full ban on bringing in firewood..they force you to buy there wood which is $8.00 for a cubic foot..any idea how much this is? im in upstate...

For those who think it's a thinly veiled attempt by the campgrounds to increase profits, please do a little research. I picked one state at random and found this link which also references a federal quarantine.

As stated by others, if you like seeing living trees when you camp, respect the quarantine.
