Our fav CG also sells firewood, but so far we have no ban on bringing from home. This is a TN SP. Up until the last couple of years, as the crew maintained the park in it's meticulous condition, as they cut wood near a site, they just neatly stacked it and it was free. Can't beat better service than that. They want to make improvements to the park that are not in the state budget, so they have started selling the wood. I have absolutely no problem with that. The "profit" they make after paying the salaries and equipment needs to maintain the park has got to be minimal. Since we pay only $14 a night - senior price ($16 regular), I certainly cannot complain about being taken advantage of. If the difference between $5 a bundle and $8 dollars a bundle is going to keep you from camping, then you probably shouldn't be going in the first place.
