BULL CRAP. 8 bucks a cubic foot has nothing to do with an insect ban It is nothing but a money grab by the campground! I would make damn sure they knew that they may have screwed me this year but it would never happen again and that I would make a crusade of stating my opinion of their practices on every form of social media I could find.
Commercial fire wood equipment can process several cord of split wood per hour so cost of production comes no where close to that price.
As I have mentioned before I am surrounded by state parks,there are literally hundreds of folks selling local ban COMPLIANT firewood for $5 AN ARM LOAD.
Please post the name of the camp so that I can make sure that I avoid it
