cubic foot of wood? how big is this? damn restrictions

No one that I read is complaining about a ban or moving of wood.
NYS rules say 50 mile radius from source. NYS Dec only requires a self issued affidavit of source.
The complaint that I am reading is price gouging plain and simple.
There are many people selling locally sourced wood.
The campground owner is no different from people that go to storm disasters selling plywood for $100.00 a sheet,or charging $1400 dollars for a 500 dollar generator.
Nothing but GREED showing its ugly face.
