Also, no sympathy is needed. There have been posts here from people who are skeptical that there is any sort of problem with bugs. It's really not hard to see the hard evidence of problems in this part of the country (and many others).
I was providing an example of the real-ness of the problem, along with a complete LACK of sympathy (so sorry) to those that complain about being told to not move wood, and having to pay whatever the locals have deemed the market will bear.
Fires are optional. I like them, and happily pay for local wood when I camp, but if the price is a problem, they really are optional.
