We tried the DF logs in our fireplace some time ago. I would NEVER cook on one of those!
Campfires are optional? Some people think trees, grass, or even any nature at all are optional, too :E
Seems like some would be satisfied with Walmart renting parking spaces with an electrical hookup and call it "camping"
Those who think this kind of stuff is "optional" really do not understand camping, IMHO.
It would be different if you are "RV-ing" and using it as a portable home/hotel/etc. That's a valid use, but really very different from camping.
