Don't forget the trans, if you have an auto. I don't know about 06 model but my 01 with auto trans I have to cool it down in neutral. Trans in park doesn't allow fluid to circulate. No big deal once you know about it. (And that situation will be fixed later this summer with a stage 2 trans I'm getting.)
Maybe by 06 they solved the fluid problem, I not sure.
And after a hard pull I don't stop at the top. I like to keep air flowing over rad/trans cooler.
I've got about $800.00 into gauges installed many years ago. Today you can buy a small thing that fits into your OBD port and dash board and will tell you almost anything. Well worth the money IMO.
