If you are looking at maxing out a SRW, why not just get a DRW?

Some guys and/or wives do not want a dually!

GM supplies you with a weights calculator that figures front and rear axle weights for std packages and all the options for a particular truck. It will get you close.

My '12 GMC 4x4 crew sb Duramax 2500hd weighs 8000 with me, a full tank of fuel, and a fiberglas cap.

Give the numbers we have provide, with my RAM weighing a couple hundred pounds more to start with, you should come in at around 8250 +/- 150 pounds with modest loading. Load heavy like I am and that would be 8500 +/- 150.

These new trucks are heavy!

2015 GMC 3500 Denali cc standard bed 4x4 pretty much full of fuel, my wife and I and a 16k pullrite sliding hitch.

Front= 4730 lbs
Rear= 3520 lbs

Total= 8250 lbs
Payload sticker shows 3720 lbs

Our 2015 RAM CC 4x4 3500 SB Aisin loaded with tools, eu2000i + 1.5 gallons of gas, six gallons of diesel, 2 sets of golf clubs, Demco picture frame and B&W manual slider(270 lbs), two people(360 lbs) weights 8900 pounds. 5140 F and 3760 R. No tail gate, but a truck box and V-Box behind hitch.

This is load for full timing at the time of the scaling. RGAWR is 7000 pounds. GVWR is 11,700 pounds. Chris

7,775 Total
4,810 Front

Good timing, I weighed mine just the other day. Front Axle=4940, Rear Axle=3340, Total=8280. This was with 2 adults, 2 little kids, half-tank of diesel, and a few misc tools and such that are always under the rear seat. 2018 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali SRW, Crew Cab, Standard Bed.

I bought a 2018 F350 ext cab 4x4 long box diesel. When I test drove it I took it to the local CAT scale and weighed it. With me and the wife in it it came out to 7980. Test drive one and take it to the cat scale and weigh it.
