Our Eureka TC is only 6.5' wide. Our previous Adventurer was 8.5' wide. If we had been carrying the Adventurer, the extra foot of width on the right side (against the rock face) would have moved more of the truck into the roadway and the extra foot of width on the left side would have been ground off the camper completely since the trailer missed us by a couple inches :E

Proof once again that "Less is More" :B
