My custom build 2017 dually Ford Powerstroke cost me $52k.
When we can gain pleasure from different things in our life, beating commute traffic with 6500lb camper on the back does make my day.
But I’ve got even more HP/torque than a new 440hp Ford.
Your truck is ultra nice, powerful, a terrific rig. I’d love to have it.
But the point of what I was saying is you can make all the power of new one and more if you want it. It’s just a few special little parts away.
Totally not knocking your Ford, if it weren’t for different priorities of what to do with my funds, I’d have it myself.
Other people think what I spend on flying to Hawaii is silly :)
Your putting down down more than 440/925 with your Cummins? In a race tune with a one time dyno run or are you doing this everyday, with a load up hills!? I’m curious as your sig doesn’t tell the story of how you got there. Infom us as I’ve had a 92, 01, 07 Cummins with a 7.3 thrown in all were tuned, modded and my 6.7 deleted Cummins made 495/950 at the wheels on the dyno but that was in a race tune and killed my trans soon after. It could pull itself down the 1/4 on that setting and my fuel couldn’t keep up and egts get out of control.
Not calling you out but the money it takes to push a 24 valve non common rail over 450/1000 WHILE under real load and road conditions is insane. You’d have more in the motor and trans than a new truck that does that kind of power under warranty and realiable all day long. Sorry put up specs and dyno sheet or I don’t believe it.
