decals

The decals are peeling off of my 2010 Spree by KZ TT. They are not cheap to replace. If I replace them on my gelcoat trailer, is there a way to protect them in the future, like maybe a clear coat ocver them. How do I remove the old decals>
Thanks,
Ray

  • We have been using Aerospace 303 Protectant on the decals and NuFinish wax on the gelcoat on both our last two trailers, and it kept everything looking like new. I would guess any quality UV protectant and wax/polish will do the job - the secret is to keep on it on a regular basis. Less rubbing that way too ...
  • Since they're so expensive they are called "graphics" rather than decals. :R:B
  • Although many don't feel covering a trailer worthwhile, I am convinced it helps immensely. A friend of mine just bought a six year old unit that was covered when not in use and the decals look like new. The proof is in the pudding.
