- stufarmerExplorerOur TT isn't that old. We chose more of a custom higher end choice of knobs for the Drawers and Cabinets. I'm still working on the interior lighting. My wife found a much nicer Clock and replaced the dining chairs with two matching leather parson chairs. She next installed a more home like mirror in the Bath. The Bedroom received a matching covered headboard, pillows and bed covering. Overall it's becoming more like a home, and not a generic TT. If mama's happy, life is good.
- Doug33ExplorerCommand strips work very well.

We decorate our TT with post cards of the places we've been. Couple dozen cards are all over the inside...stuck here and there
Like this idea!! I might try it out! When traveling as a family we started getting a fridge magnet whereever we went, filled the fridge, nice to look at it and remember!! Postcards are nice and cheap, and help trigger the memories also, and can be placed anywhere! Thanks for the idea! - DtaylorExplorer

just a note about using velcro to hang things - when it comes time to remove the velcro it WILL remove a swath of wall covering as well (don't ask me how I know). I use tiny nails which can be filled with appropriately coloured putty. I've even had command adhesive strips rip fragile paper. I do use them in some places though.
Command Strips make velcro for hanging pictures and stuff. They come off without taking the wallpaper with it - westendExplorerYeah, that's nice but will you have Festus's original LP framed or the Marlboro Man:

- dadmomhExplorerSurprised that lasparrot had a Velcro issue when removing. I've always used it and had no problem. Suggestion....apply just a drip or two of Goo Gone to the top of the Velcro and GENTLY remove it. I used just a terry cloth towel dampened with a bit more Goo Gone to remove any residue.
Now re the decorating....for a "male only" trailer, I'd be inclined to go with either some sort of Northwoods theme - hunting, fishing, etc or if you have a particular hobby, that's the answer. On both our HTT and TT we used some small pictures of our dogs on trips with us - matching frames from Walmart and put up with a bit of Velcro and since we're big wine people, we had several things I'd done with a wine theme. Didn't change the curtains or valances in either since they were new. Something that has some significant meaning to you, whether the fishing/hunting thing, cooking, beer/wine or even simple outdoor scenes. You can stop at some place like JoAnn's Fabrics, Hancock or Hobby Lobby and come away with a plan. If you want or need new curtains, they usually have names of people that do custom work. Be sure to add some throw pillows and maybe a rug or two. I'll be YOU before you know it. Good luck and be sure to send pix. - lots2seeinmyrvExplorerRV daytrader...nice curtains.
