I think you have something wrong. I have a 99 bigfoot the monster. I have camped at 8800 ft in Walden Colorado for 9 days in -20 weather. And let me tell you the wind BLOWS up there, Never a problem. Yes I run the furnace set at 65 all night. Just run my Honda 2000 till it runs out of gas. No modifications. I do keep the cabinet under the sink open. The Bathroom actually gets HOT so I try to keep that door open as well. I use to spend many nights in the A Basin parking lot when they allowed it nothing ever froze. From the previous post it sound like you need to keep your slide in. I would not run extra heaters it just shut your furnace off allowing the cold to get to your basement. just my 2cents
