We've been in our Bigfoot at very cold temps, below zero, granted, it was just in our driveway, but we've done it to see if it really was comfortable, and it is.
The heated basement keeps the floors warm, and as another poster noted, the bathroom can get downright balmy. The areas around the slide out do tend to have some heat loss, so I think that before I went on an extended low temp trip, I would investigate doing some sealing up around it, and maybe fit the Heki with some foam insulation. The bed area doesn't get as warm as the rest of the camper, so we have a small ceramic heater up there, but once it gets warm up there, it is pretty toasty.
I would sure think that the Arctic Fox would be capable of low temp camping without mods, if I am correct, it should have the "thermal" windows and heated basement. I wonder if maybe a heat vent somewhere is blocked, which is keeping heat from fully circulating?
