- 45RicochetExplorerDid GM release any GVWR or GCWR numbers for the 25 & 35 series of trucks ?
I just heard a local GMC dealership ad on the tube offering a "lifetime" warranty :H Now that's pretty hard to beat unless of course the price is like 10k$ over MSRP . I think I could get past that DEF tank location with a lifetime warranty :B - ib516Explorer IIThat new Canyon/Colorado pickup will be popular here in Canada once the 2.8L diesel is introduced in the 2016 models. ~195hp/365tq Perfect for a mid sized truck.
- Perrysburg_DodgExplorerCongrats to GM on the new Stingray Vette, looks sweet. Wish it had a few more styling ques form the 65-72 Vette's but it still looks sweet.
As for the pick-up...look's like they did a lot of wining and dining to pull that one off IMO.
From the link: "The recognition of the Silverado also comes at a good time for GM. Last week, the company said it was recalling about 370,000 pickups, including some of the redesigned Silverados, to reprogram software that could cause parts of the exhaust to overheat and lead to fire.".
Don - larry_barnhartExplorerIt was a weird choice of vehicles for a truck winner.
chevman - catfishmontanaExplorerI'm surprised at the compliments on the Vette above. I like the exiting body style much more than the new.
- DadoffourgirlsExplorerI know it is not a tow vehicle, but the Chrysler 200 is getting good press after its introduction. It was interesting, that I saw at least 6 of them last Thursday in camo out testing. I had others in the car that had never seen the camo'd car, and they were surprised that the dash was also covered. I said it was to keep her from taking a picture of the dash.
I have admission to the show for this afternoon. All I need to do now is get my work done to get there.
Did I miss a post about the GMC Canyon?
Canyon is expected to deliver:
The segment’s best horsepower – an estimated 193 horsepower (146 kW) from a standard 2.5L I-4 and an estimated 302 horsepower (224 kW) from an available 3.6L V-6
The segment’s best payload of at least 1,450 pounds (657 kg)
The segment’s best maximum trailering rating (when properly equipped) of at least 6,700 pounds (3,039 kg)
Even greater capability with a powerful and efficient Duramax 2.8L turbodiesel engine coming in 2016 model year - 45RicochetExplorer

I saw the new CEO Mary Barra on one of the morning show's. She seemed really level headed working her way up the ladder. Wish her the best in the coming years.
New Vette looks sharp.
X2 on the Vette... Looks like a jewel.
I read the same designer designed both the new Vette and the full size trucks.
