Devil's Den State Park Halloween
This is the only place I know to go for this question. We were staying at Devil's Den State Park over the weekend; which is an absolutely beautiful campground; and I heard from someone passing by that the park has an amazing halloween camping weekend. I checked into it at the front desk; since we want to invite our family down; and they said that its a private group that hosts it and they don't have a clue as to what weekend it is. Anyone can be apart of it, but I know that it fills up quickly.
I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone out there know of this, or does anyone know where I can find info on it (or just a date)? I googled, but nothing. I did ask the front desk what weekend looks to be full and they gave me the 19th of October; and said that this must be the weekend since the whole campground is full. My wife let me know later that the weekend of the 19th is War Eagle and everyone fills up all campgrounds within 50 miles of that place. Any help is greatly appreciated.
