Agreed! But Depoe Bay is south of Lincoln city. ;)
We have been regular visitors to Lincoln City the past few years. We like staying at the state park for DW's birthday weekend. We will bike down to the glass blowing place. DW will blow something for her birthday gift (no, that is NOT a double entendre). They have to cool the glass overnight, so we will pick it up on the way out of town. Conveniently the free RV dump is about two blocks across the highway from the glass shop.
DW absolutely LOVES walking the beach and looking for treasures. No luck finding any of the tourist floats which are put out on the beach. Some friends who live in Roads End (north Lincoln City) found one on the path down to the beach. The word is they are always placed above the high water line - so there is no sense looking among driftwood on the beach.
