For me, the reasons to have a TC include maneuverability, economy, ability to go offroad and get into areas trailers and larger rigs can't access. I can store my TC in my garage. For these benefits I'm willing to sacrifice some room and complexity. If I wanted room I'd get a 5th wheel and put up with the hassle of towing, parking and paying for it. Putting a monster camper on a monster truck seems to me to be defeating many of the purposes for having a TC.
