Guess you missed my post.....I don't use truck stops. Hate the nasty fuel islands, over priced fuel and long lines

paid .99 cents a litre today... lower than normal ..over $ 3.70 a us gallon..sounds like your prices are much better..

I know that is a bunch of bull because I am a Ram owner and have a 2014 HD CTD. Although I guess I don't qualify to be in the mafia since I also own a F150 EB. And technically I am also a Chevy truck owner since a got a 72 C/10 out in the back shop, but it is in pieces pending a motor install that I will one day get around to doing.

I have had them all too! Mostly they all treated me good. Probably since I kept up the maintenance and did not drive too far to get my fuel. :B

Wow, talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill!!

To some it is convenience over price.
Just like the refilled propane bottles, that are at times twice the price of a refill!

I would agree with Cummins that finding that station and driving five miles out of my way to save $12, just isn't worth it.

If it was an easy one mile difference, I likely would do it, but five miles in even a semi urban area, can cost you 20 to 45 minutes.

Heck, my daughter can get the Lie-o-meter to 20.9 mpg, I do good to get it to 19 mpg! I still drive the way I do, because it fits my lie style.

I also don't agree with the statement about truck stop stations being significantly higher. My experience out West is they are at the low to mid range of prices in a general area that you would see listed on Gas Buddy.
