Harley owners are the worst. I like the sound of a V twin as much as anyone but not at 115 dB. Don't know what's the matter with those guys.
I know right? They're almost as annoying as diesel owners! If they would leave their noisy Harley's idling and stinking up the campground, they'd be every bit as annoying!:p
You're getting old. So deal with it.
I'm enjoying life. I've owned several diesels and several Harley's. Still own a Harley. I like the sound of a diesel as well as the throaty cackle of a Harley with straight pipes. Nothing to deal with. I don't let people like you annoy me. My post was tongue in cheek. Then I forgot about it. Life is good! You should get one! :B
Nothing against Harleys. It's the guys with the ape hanger bars and straight pipes that for some reason like to rev it at stop lights. I guess cause it won't idle. Then they think they need to crack it wide open to go somewhere. What cracks me up is they really don't go as fast as they sound like they should. I think Harley makes some of the prettiest MCs out there. Seen a bagillion of them when I was riding. I agree the sound of a Harley is mesmerizing when done right. I guess its the owner that makes them sound nice or ridiculous.
My riding days are over. If I was looking I would def put Harley on my short list. Always been a Jap MC guy, but I'm a little slower now and cruising on a Harley could be fun.
Lately I've had the desire for another dirt bike like a Honda CRF450R. Been a long time since I've kicked up some dirt on the ol' forestry roads.
