I've wanted to upgrade to a F250 or F350 diesel for a while. 6.7 or 7.3. I've kind of talked myself away from the 7.3 due to the trucks getting pretty old now. I followed a thread from the forums to the ford forums. It was about the HPFP problems on the 6.7. Though it might be rare, the thought of a 11 to 13k repair bill from a fuel pump problem soured me from the 6.7.
So, back the the Chevys I guess. I bumped into reviews on Edmonds or JD Powers which were not what I expected. I would have thought the chevy duramax combo would have been 5 stars from consumers reviews.
Now I'm kind of leaning towards dodge with the Cummings, but I guess if I looked I could find horror stories there as well.
Now I'm a little scared to go the diesel route.
