Same holds true for Safeway.

And If I need to make a big purchase at a store that Safeway sells a gift card to, I use a points earning credit card to buy the gift card, which means I get points on the CC towards more gift cards, plus I get the fuel discount. Yes, I'm "working the system".

Yeah I honestly since bought truck new in 2006 never bought diesel that cheap.

Our new record, in Chandler AZ I bought it for $2.59 today with no discount. Much better than my record high in 08 or 09 for $4.90. I need to get one of those fuel price apps as the variance around here and right now is huge. Saw 2.99 not far away from the place with 2.59.... Gotta get further off the freeway when traveling I suppose...
